Sumo House Japanese Restaurant

The Sumo House Japanese Restaurant is located beside the NTUC Fairprice in Ang Mo Kio Central. Prince and I walked pass the restaurant and saw that the place is packed with a well crowd of youngsters and family, hence we decided to give it a try. 

Baby Octopus

Curry Chicken Udon

The baby octopuses were alright. You can't quite go wrong for this dish. The prawn tempura was good, but the other fried vegetables that came with it weren't fantastic. The Curry Chicken Udon was average but too salty to my liking.

Mango Pudding

Mango pudding looked good on the outside, but sadly didn't tasted as good as how the outlook appeared to be. I guess any packet pudding from NTUC inside maybe better.

Chicken Chop ($6)

Maid: I like this Chicken Chop! From the presentation of the food to the sizzling hotplate, and of course the chicken chop and whipped potato. What more could I ask for from a $6 Hawker Chicken Chop? :)


Prince: Presentation of the food was awesome , topped with vege, fries and potato. A tip for those who are eating this, the fries below the chicken became a little chao ta because of the long contact with the hotplate base so remember to prevent this by eating the fries first.

The chicken was not bad but I still prefer the chicken from NTU canteen 1's western food stall and their unbeatable mash potato. Definitely value for money so give this a try.
