Classic Ribeye Steak with barbecue sauce, baked potato and steam vegetables ($24.90++)

One main reason to eat in Hippopotamus is its romantic ambiance  They have this candle thing in the middle and it really adds ambiance to the dinning. Its interior is decorated in strong red and being Valentines Day, they have separated every table into couple seats. One plus point to note is that their staff can speak in good english and are not like those restaurants that employ foreigners that spoils the mood. Do not take the outside seats as you will be left alone and have difficulty getting the waiters.

Classic Ribeye is a standard dish which tastes reasonably well. Most of their steak mains come with 2 side dishes which we get to choose. Their baked potato came with salt on the skin which I didnt like and it looks kinda crumpled.

Skirt Steak with Roquefort Cheese, baked potato and Potato Gratin ($18.90)

Skirt steak was supposed to be medium done but it came a little too bloody. It was tough to cut and tough to bite, please do not buy skirt steak anymore. The potato gratin should be the best side dish on the menu.
