Here's our 2nd overseas food series! The 1st series was Bangkok.
Over the last weekend, we visited Melaka, Malaysia!
In day 1, we tried some food places near our hotel, which is in their city area at Jalan Merdeka.
We stayed at Fenix Inn, a hotel strategically located near their main shopping mall, Dataran Pahlawan. If you are driving a car there, it would be a good choice cause they have valet parking service.

Breakfast at Restoran Congee Rice Noodles. Pretty decent noodle soup.

We had our lunch at Banya Nyonya Restoran, which is just beside Fenix Inn. The food was average only, not really a must-try.

Dinner was another place in the proximity, Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant. It is located just a road across and opposite Fenix Inn. The restaurant is clean, and the pipe bbq minimised the smoky air from the bbq-ing. I was surprised by the wide spread of complimentary side dishes they served, it was like 10 dishes? It includes item like steamed egg as well. Just the side dishes are enough for me to fill my stomach already.
