Hong Sheng Restaurant 鸿勝菜馆

We went to this Zi Char place at a coffeeshop which is near Braddell MRT and just behind SPH.
The whole area of this coffeeshop is converted into a Zi Char place for dinner time, and their signature dish seemed to be the Claypot Fishhead which I had seen many people eating. Read our review on the Claypot Fishhead here.

Despite that, we were there for the delicious looking Har Cheong Kai actually. We ordered the Har Cheong Kai and a Beehoon Hor Fun for the both of us.

Prawn Paste Chicken (Har Cheong Kai)

It was quite nicely fried and crispy, but the taste of the prawn paste isn't very much to my liking as it was a bit smelly to me.

Beehoon Horfun

The ingredients were quite a lot, with the veggi, prawn, squid, pork belly etc. But I don't think it was cooked well, as the colour of the beehoon wasn't very even.

My personal favourite Zi Char stall is still Xin He Sheng Seafood Restaurant at Chong Pang.
